About Me

I'm Lynn and the writer behind this blog.  I moved across the pond to be with someone who caught my attention almost twelve years ago and made me his wife at the end of 2010. I am originally from Rochester, Minnesota.

This quote rings true and that is why I now reside in France with my husband! This is us:

As terrified as I was to move to a foreign country and be so far from my family, friends, and life in MN; I am excited to finally be with James and creating a life together. When James became my family so did his daughters.

Since arriving in France I have obtained an English teaching position working with business professionals and also teaching at a University in Paris. I spend my free time with James and family, exploring my new city, trying new cuisine, developing my hobbies, and attempting to learn French. This blog is a way for me to document my experiences here as I navigate daily life in France as an American expat.
